I am a science communication specialist, focusing on equity, diversity, and inclusion.

What am I working on right now?

I have almost a decade of volunteer and work experience in science communications and inclusive education. Currently, I work with the Disability Inclusion Team at the University of Waterloo, supporting institutional accessibility and building community connections. I also study science communication at the University of Waterloo as a PhD student. I am the Co-Founder of the STEM with Disabilities project and lead related disability inclusion advocacy.

My professional and personal journeys are forever tied together, with published articles that showcase and bridge both. My writing explores my passion for science, with topics like particle accelerators and land reclamation, as well as my mental health journey, including eating disorder recovery, living with anxiety disorders, and navigating chronic pain and disability.
